An industry group of global brewers like Heineken, AB InBev and Carlsberg is warning of price hikes and possible supply disruptions in India as the Iran war ripples through supply chains.
What’s actually going wrong?

🍻 Paper cartons up nearly 100%
🍻 Gas shortages are squeezing glass bottle makers (furnaces can’t run cold)
🍻 Aluminium supply chains are getting delayed for can producers
"We are asking for price increases in the range of 12-15%," the Brewers Association of India's director general Vinod Giri told Reuters. "We have advised our member companies to individually approach states."
