روزنامه وال استریت ژورنال گزارش داده است که رهبران جمهوری اسلامی، در حالی که به‌دنبال دستیابی به توافقی هسته‌ای با ایالات متحده هستند، هم‌زمان خود را برای احتمال شکست مذاکرات و درگیری نظامی آماده می‌کنند.
به نوشته این روزنامه، تهران اقداماتی از جمله استقرار نیروهای نظامی، تمرکززدایی از ساختار تصمیم‌گیری، تقویت استحکامات پیرامون تأسیسات هسته‌ای و افزایش فشار بر مخالفان داخلی را در دستور کار قرار داده است. در این گزارش آمده است که این تحرکات نشان می‌دهد مقام‌های ایرانی معتقدند بقای نظام ممکن است با تهدیدی جدی روبه‌رو باشد.
وال‌استریت ژورنال همچنین نوشته است جمهوری اسلامی در داخل کشور با سطح بالایی از نارضایتی عمومی نسبت به وضعیت اقتصادی و پیامدهای اعتراض‌های اخیر روبه‌روست و در مقایسه با دهه‌های گذشته در موقعیتی آسیب‌پذیرتر قرار دارد.
در همین حال، ایالات متحده حضور نظامی خود را در منطقه افزایش داده و دو ناو هواپیمابر به همراه شماری از ناوهای جنگی و جنگنده‌ها را به منطقه اعزام کرده است. واشینگتن گفته است این استقرار با هدف آمادگی در برابر تحولات احتمالی انجام شده است.
این گزارش در شرایطی منتشر می‌شود که تنش‌ها میان تهران و واشینگتن همچنان ادامه دارد و آینده مذاکرات هسته‌ای در هاله‌ای از ابهام قرار دارد.

🔻مارک زاکربرگ، مدیرعامل شرکت متا و مالک اینستاگرام، روز چهارشنبه در دادگاه برای دفاع از شرکت خود در برابر اتهاماتی مبنی بر هدف‌گیری کاربران نوجوان با چالش روبه‌رو شد؛ آن هم در حالی که با مجموعه‌ای از اسناد داخلی شرکت مواجه بود.

او تاکید کرد که وکلای شاکیان «در حال ارائه تفسیری درست» از این مکاتبات داخلی متا هستند.

این اسناد در چارچوب یک محاکمه مهم در لس‌آنجلس ارائه شده‌اند؛ دادگاهی که به بررسی این موضوع می‌پردازد که آیا شبکه‌های اجتماعی برای کودکان اعتیادآور هستند یا خیر.
این نخستین حضور آقای زاکربرگ در برابر هیئت منصفه محسوب می‌شود؛ آن هم پس از سال‌ها افزایش انتقادها علیه متا که مالک واتساپ و فیسبوک نیز هست.

در این پرونده، پلتفرم یوتیوب متعلق به شرکت گوگل نیز به عنوان یکی از متهمان حضور دارد. این دادگاه به دلیل پیامدهای احتمالی آن برای هزاران شکایت مشابه، با دقت از سوی ناظران دنبال می‌شود.

This is the strongest indication to me of the seriousness of the US threat to Iran. The US has deployed more than 2/3 of its available E3 command/control aircraft to Europe and the Middle East.

The E3 is an incredibly important aircraft. For those unfamiliar, it is the large airplane that looks like an airliner, but with a revolving radar disc on top. The airplane is loaded with an air crew whose job is to observe, manage and control the airspace in its area. It is especially important for directing fighters and ground/sea based missile interceptors against Iranian missiles and drones.

USAF has only 16 E3s total, so 6 of 16 E3s deployed is significant by itself, BUT mission capable rates are 55% for E3s, meaning only 9 are possibly available for operations. The full mission capable rate for the E3 is likely lower, so there may only be 7 or 8 E3s deployable. The Air Force may just have deployed nearly every E3 they have available

This is an example of something the Air Force genuinely wouldn’t do unless it was absolutely necessary. There’s no PR value in this, you get that from the deployed carriers and fighter squadrons. You only deploy these en masse if you need to because they will be used.

The likelihood of that decision not being made is getting smaller and smaller.
