According to the Iranian-American organization Hiwa, the regime has shot dead more than 30 athletes in less than 10 days, including a 15-year-old.

Olympic wrestler Alireza Nejati was seized and reportedly tortured after posting "This is the end" on Instagram.

The regime is killing its athletes for speaking out.

به گزارش روزنامه تایمز، وزارت کشور بریتانیا تأیید کرده است که در حال آماده‌سازی یک لایحه قانونی جدید برای قرار دادن سپاه پاسداران در فهرست رسمی سازمان‌های ممنوعه و تروریستی این کشور است.
بر اساس این گزارش، این اقدام در پی افزایش فشارها برای واکنش به سرکوب خونین اعتراضات ضدحکومتی در ایران و نقش سپاه پاسداران در این سرکوب صورت می‌گیرد. منابع دولتی بریتانیا این لایحه را «مهم و سرنوشت‌ساز» توصیف کرده‌اند؛ لایحه‌ای که در صورت تصویب، به دولت اجازه می‌دهد سپاه پاسداران را رسماً یک سازمان تروریستی اعلام کند.
وزارت کشور بریتانیا همچنین اعلام کرده است که با توجه به نقش مستقیم سپاه در سرکوب مرگبار معترضان ایرانی در هفته‌های اخیر، این لایحه خارج از روال عادی و به‌صورت فوری پیگیری خواهد شد.
به نوشته تایمز، انتظار می‌رود این لایحه در ادامه سال جاری میلادی به پارلمان بریتانیا ارائه شود.
در صورت تصویب، قانون جدید به پلیس بریتانیا اختیارات گسترده‌ای خواهد داد؛ از جمله بازداشت و ضبط دارایی افرادی که مظنون به همکاری یا فعالیت به نفع سپاه پاسداران هستند. همچنین پلیس خواهد توانست در شرایط «سطح تهدید بالا» یا در اماکن حساس مرتبط با اهداف دولتی، بدون نیاز به ظن قبلی، افراد را متوقف و بازرسی کند.
