A manhunt is underway to find a "cowardice" rapist who failed to show up to court on the final day of his trial.

Foisal Ahmed, from Buckingham, assaulted and raped a woman in Crewe multiple times over several months.

He also assaulted the victim’s child.

The 34-year-old was found guilty of two counts of rape, one charge of controlling and coercive behaviour and child neglect but failed to attend the last day of his trial and was not present at Chester Crown Court to receive his eight-year sentence.

Cheshire Police have issued an warrant for his arrest and urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts to contact the force.

China is helping Russia expand production of Oreshnik ballistic missiles by supplying specialized machinery and equipment.

According to The Telegraph, the total value of Chinese equipment delivered to Russia is estimated at $10.3 billion. Ukrainian military intelligence identified a key component, a CNC lathe used for advanced metal cutting operations, at the Votkinsk Plant.

Since the war began in 2022, China has shipped at least $3.1 billion worth of CNC machines to Russia. It has also supplied microchips, bearings, piezoelectric crystals, and testing equipment critical to Russian military production.

Analysts say Russia’s dependence on China has grown sharply as its domestic industrial capacity struggles to meet demand.
