He flew from Tampa to Iraq last night to sort the Syria situation of ISIS prisoner transfers.

Crisis averted for now: Syrian gov and SDF agreed to a ceasefire while 7,000 inmates get moved to Iraqi jails.

The U.S. military is leading the op with SDF and Syrian help; it'll take days or weeks.

He's also linking up with Sen. Joni Ernst on her Israel trip, checking out the Gaza oversight at CMCC.

Flights to Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE are getting canceled last minute.

Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa, and KLM all pulled out tonight, saying it’s because of the “security situation.”

No one’s saying war, but it sure looks like something’s coming.

🚨UPDATE: Everyone freaking out tonight as many airlines cancelled flights to Israel and the Middle East, and a few flights took a U-turn away from Israel

This comes after days of U.S. military build up in the region, and recent war rhetoric in Turkey, Israel, Iran and the U.S.

However based on air traffic, looks like business as usual, at least for tonight

Also the USS Lincoln Aircraft is not yet in the Gulf of Oman, therefore not in striking distance to Iran

So we have days before any strikes, unless we see an unexpected surprise attack by Israel (unlikely)

For next week and next month however, I wouldn’t be surprised if war breaks out.

According to @JenGriffinFNC with Fox News, the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) and her Carrier Strike Group have not yet arrived in the U.S. Central Command Area-of-Responsibility in the Indian Ocean, and are still several days if not a week away from from arriving in the Gulf of Oman, within safe striking distance of Iran.

The Dutch flagship airline KLM has announced that it will be suspending all flights to and from the Middle East until further notice, citing the “geopolitical situation” in the region and following discussions with officials in The Hague. KLM has directed international flights to avoid the airspace over Iraq, Iran, Israel, and several Gulf Nations, while all flights have been canceled to Tel Aviv, Dubai, Dammam, and Riyadh.
