Qatari "diplomat" Ali Al-Thawadi has a long history of reportedly overseeing Qatar's efforts to buy influence in the U.S., and to use espionage to silence the Gulf state's critics, including President Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner @jaredkushner and former RNC Finance Chair and former Trump Fundraiser and Mar a Lago member Elliott Broidy @ElliottBBroidy.

MBH also ran Qatar's corrupt bid back in 2010 to win the World Cup, and Al-Thawadi apparently oversaw most of the dirty work, from bribing soccer officials to conducting “black ops," like hacking those who were critical of Qatar's bid.

Even after Qatar won the World Cup bid, they reportedly kept hacking people critical of them, with Al-Thawadi spearheading the espionage campaigns. He even used former CIA agents to go after Qatar’s targets, according to multiple reports.

Many of these action plans were leaked to the media, so we know that Qatar and Al-Thawadi were engaging in alleged spying operations to ruin their critics and make others too scared to criticize the Gulf state.

In 2017, Qatar launched "GlobalLeaks," which spied on dozens and potentially hundreds of Americans. Emails from top Biden and Trump officials, journalists, and think tankers were leaked to Qatar-friendly publications like the New York Times and The Intercept. The Qatar-funded and pro-Iran Quincy Institute also published some of the hacked emails.

In 2018, Qatar believed that Jared Kushner was too pro-Israel and supportive of UAE's desire to make peace with Israel.

Now, the same Qatari "diplomat" who oversaw that spying campaign is sitting on the same Gaza Executive Board with individuals the Qataris admitted to spying on, including Jared Kushner.

Oddly enough, even after allegedly threatening to extort Jared Kushner, Al-Thawadi was in the room at the White House in October 2025 when President Trump asked Israeli Prime Minister Bibi @netanyahu to apologize for the airstrike in Qatar. How was a guy who has been publicly identified in the media for running Qatar's "black ops" against US officials granted access into the White House and then later placed on President Trump’s Gaza Executive Board?

What is going on? Al-Thawadi has no business being on any board, let alone a board that is supposed to be tasked with disarming Hamas.

How do we know Al-Thawadi and the Qataris aren’t going to replicate their spy behavior in Switzerland this week at Davos? The Qataris are notorious for spying on world leaders in Switzerland.
